Take The Signs Down

Thank God for His word that
tells that we can move mountains. We believe we are
finally nearing the end of this process. Mr. Randolph,
who has worked tirelessly, ensures us that as of this
writing (10/15/07). almost of all the major work has
been completed Please be reminded, as we informed you
last week, that as we await final clearance on the
still condemned properties, we are also undergoing our
annual inspections. This required work be done to
address several deficiencies, most of which have been
corrected, using Take The Signs Down funds as well.
Our
update for this week is as follows:
- The fence
at the rear of 1528 has been reinstalled at a cost
of $300. This bill has been paid.
- As you
were informed last week the Trustees decided
interior demolition was the best solution for
completing the work need on 1543 and 1600 8th
Street. The work on 1600 is just about complete and
interior demolition on 1543 will begin this week.
- The
retaining wall needed at the base of 1543 (mentioned
last month) is not yet complete.
