The coupling of faith and works continues in this village. An additional $630 has been credited to the Take The Signs Down campaign. The total contributed as of this writing (9/29/07) is $219. 695.00.

Our update for this week is as follows:

  • A second payment of $18,500 has been made on the contract for roofing on 1543 8th Street. The balance of $18,500 will be paid when the work is completed.
     
  • Additional inside work/ cleaning was completed at 1526 9th Street at a cost of $1,800. This bill has been paid.
     
  • The trustees have received bids for the additional work needed on 1543 and 1600 8th Street.
     
  • A bid has been received by the trustees for the repair to the steps at 1533 9th Street.
     

The fence at 1528 9th Street was temporarily taken down so that the dumpster could be removed. It will be replaced this week.
