Campaign Chairs

“For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.”

Psalm 100:5

We continue to make progress as God continues to be faithful to us all. As of this writing (September 10, 2007) the contributions made to the campaign total $216,165.00.

The update for this week is as follows:

  • During the preliminary inspection last week, Mr. Randolph was informed two additional repairs must be made. A retaining wall is needed around the base of the property at 1543 8th Street and an opening in the roof at 1600 8th Street must also be closed.

  • A fence was installed behind 1526 and 1528 9th Street after the removal of the garage. The bill for the fence in the amount of $3,000 has been paid. Stump removal, trimming of weeds and grass, and laying of blue stone to cover the yard costs $3,650. (This will also prepare the area to be used as additional parking). This bill has been paid.

  • The initial extermination services on all 8 properties will cost $1,675. This bill has been paid. The service fee for the next year will be $655 per month.

  • The work outlined in the first contract for repairs on the 9th Street properties has been completed. The final payment of $24,260 has been made.

  •  The work outlined in the second contract for masonry work on the properties has been completed. The final payment of $10,000 has been made.

  • The contract for the repairs needed on 1543 8th Street totals $54,990. This work should begin this week. A deposit of $18,330 was paid.

Next weeks update will include the total expenditures to date.

Thank you Mr. Randolph, Trustee Lee and Trustee Clark for your hard work in moving this project forward. Thank you Shiloh for your love and support.

To God be the Glory! Great Things He Hath Done!
