Pastor's Pen

We congratulate and thank all those who contributed to the Take Down the Signs Campaign.

Shiloh, you rose beyond the call of duty. Mere words cannot express our gratitude for your faithfulness and dedication. We remain indebted to Deacons Constance Tate and Janice Bowden for the exemplary leadership they gave to this effort. Their example set the tone for the rest of the congregation. We will continue to pray God's richest blessings on their lives.

The work is proceeding on the things needed to be done to remove the condemnations. An inspector came to Shiloh on Wednesday and promised to report back to the Condemnation Board on the work that has been accomplished. Charles Randolph, Church Administrator, and Trustee Ralph Lee  have kept on top of the process. The work has been exceptionally well done and we have every expectation that we will have the condemnations removed. We will continue to pray that God will see us through to a favorable conclusion.

In spite of the challenges we have faced, we see how God is bringing about so many good things. Last Sunday's Unity Service was an incredible blessing. The music, the prayers and every aspect of the worship proved deeply meaningful. The tears, shouts of joy and spontaneous applause throughout the service indicated how powerfully the Spirit was moving. Five people joined the church and a visiting group came all the way from Montreal to worship with us. To God be the glory!

Yes, we have challenges, but we are on the move. Let us continue to lift God's Word and stand behind the Cross. One Vision, One Village, One Victory.
