Villagers,

I need you. You need me. We're all a part of God's body.  Stand with me. Agree with me. I need you to survive. It is His will that every need be supplied. You are important to me. I need you to survive.

In the coming days we will all be asked to come together to do what is needed to "Take the Signs Down". We are asking for a sacrificial offering, not one that is made instead of your regular offering, but an additional gift to help with the cost of repairs needed to meet the city's requirements on the six condemned properties.

Reverend  Smith has agreed that collection amounts, expenses and progress will be reported in the Spirit weekly. Trustee Chair Christine B.  Clark, and members of the Finance Committee, are working with us to ensure that all sacrificial gifts are directed appropriately, and we have been assured that the integrity of the funds will be maintained. We are asking that each of you pray earnestly and consider uniting with us to meet this current need. The goal is $100,000.00. We are asking that each adult make a sacrificial gift of $1000.00 and each youth a gift of $100.00. If you are unable to give the suggested amount, whatever you give will be appreciated. This effort will take place within the next three weeks ending on Sunday, July 1, 2007.

When you make your sacrifice, whatever the amount, please be sure you write a separate check. On the memo line please write "Take the Signs Down". Also use a separate envelope, on which you write "Take the Signs Down" and don't forget to include your church number on the check and envelope.

I'm praying for you. Are you praying for me?  Stand with me. Agree with me, I need you to survive. It is His will that every need be supplied. You are important to me. We're all a part of God's body. We need each other to survive.
