Upon accepting God's Call, in May, 1988, to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Rev. Grogan matriculated to and graduated from the Howard University School of Divinity, having earned the Master of Divinity degree ('89-'92).  Her seminary education included several awards of distinction: The Ford Foundation Field-Based Fellowship ('90-'91); The ); The ); The Nannie Helen Burroughs Scholar Award ('91-'92); The William O. Carrington Preacher of the Year Award ('91-'92); and The National Dean's List, 15th Edition ('91-'92).  Rev. Grogan was also the first seminary student to receive The Patricia Roberts Harris Public Affairs Fellow from Howard's School of Communications, under whose auspices she served as a professional intern at the Library of Congress (Summer '91). Following her seminary education, Rev. Grogan was further distinguished within the Shiloh congregation with the presentation of The Woman of The Year Award in 1993.

In addition to serving as an Associate Minister within the Shiloh congregation, Rev. Grogan is also the Founder of Revelation Ministries, so-named for her passionate and in-depth teaching on the Book of the Revelation. To further her scholarship and her ministry in this area, Rev. Grogan completed a pre-doctoral Master’s degree in Semitics with the Dept. of Semitics and Egyptian Languages in the School of Arts and Sciences at the Catholic University of America in May 2005. She is actively formulating her doctoral program in the area of a Biblical exegetical approach to the study of the Book of the Revelation that is accessible, not just to the scholar, but also to the believer in the pew.

In summary, Rev. Grogan loves The Lord, is committed to the teaching and preaching of God's Word, and is zealous in her efforts to prepare the people of God for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ!!!
