HOWARD U. SCHOOL
OF LAW SEEKS TEMPORARY CIVIL RIGHTS CLINIC
DIRECTOR FOR 2011-2012 ACADEMIC YEAR
|
Howard University School of Law is looking to fill a
visiting faculty position in its Civil Rights Clinic
for 2011-12 academic year. The clinic is a general
civil rights clinic and focuses mostly, though not
exclusively, on federal appeals. The visitor will
have the title of Visiting Assistant (or Associate
depending on experience) Professor of Law and will
supervise approximately 8 students for the year.
Because at Howard all clinicians also teach
doctrinal courses in their area of expertise, the
visitor will have the option of designing and
teaching their own civil rights and constitutional
law doctrinal seminar in spring 2012. The position
only recently opened up and we are looking to make a
decision fairly quickly such that the candidate
would start in early August. Please send CVs or
inquiries directly to me if you or anyone you know
that may be interested.
