| SHILOH SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2012 | |

| The Scholarship Committee exists pursuant to by-laws of Shiloh Baptist Church. Initially tasked with overseeing the awarding of scholarships for high school students, the Scholarship Committee now oversees an array of scholarship awards currently offered through the generosity of the congregation and groups and individuals within the congregation. The Scholarship Committee serves as the “umbrella organization” for the selection committees for certain scholarship awards—e.g., the Harmon Taylor Award and the Earl L. Harrison Fellowship—and, as appropriate, receives direction and input from those committees, as well as certain sponsors (e.g., the Gospel Choir, and the trustees for the Cirtie Mae Turner Scholarship Fund (or their designees)), in making scholarship awards. | |
